studio spaces and organization

First, on a personal note:

Mom is home from the hospital! This lady survived pneumonia (and for an elderly woman with one lung, that's some feat!) and a mild heart attack. Now it's time to work on recovery. I'm still far away from my studio and dreaming of creating new handbags and other fun things. In the meantime, I'm really enjoying the time spent with my mom.

~ Now, let's talk Studio Spaces ~

I can't help but drool when new issues of the following two magazines hit the stands. I'm talking about Where Women Create and Cloth, Paper, and Scissors: Studios Magazine. In addition to the magazine, CP&S has a section on their website which allows artists to submit photos of their studio. They also have an October 2010 blog post featuring quite a few studio tours - a great place for inspiration.

~ Organization ~

Savvy Spaces by Kristin is owned and operated by professional home and small office organizer Kristin Lindstrom. Her blog, The Imperfect Home, is one of my favorite sources when I need to tame the chaotic tornado also known as my home and studio. Kristin has practical advise that's perfectly doable and easily attainable. Hop over and gather a few tidbits about different ways to tackle your studio and streamline your life.

~ Other Studio and Organizing Resources ~

~ Featuring Studio Spaces ~

Last but certainly not least, don't forget that we'll be featuring Lorelei Eurto of Lorelei Eurto Jewelry this Thursday for our kick off of Featuring Studio Spaces. It'll be a treat!
We'll include an interview with Lorelei and photos of her jewelry studio.

See you then!

  6. Oh, my gosh - I'm way behind on blogging after traveling for the holidays. So sorry to hear about your mom, but it's wonderful that she is recovering! I guess you've had a bit too much excitement this holiday season, huh?

    Sending good thoughts your way...
