focus on life: flowers

IMG_9264c
Don't get me wrong, Valentine flowers are beautiful. But there's something about flowers found alongside the road or in a field growing wild that just speaks to me. So for this week's installment of Sally Russick's Focus on Life series, I'm featuring flowers that you won't find in any shop.

  2. Wild flowers are so indicative of the best of nature, blooming with no help by anyone but the Creator. Thanks for the beautiful photo.

  6. Yes, agreed. I have a field behind my home that fills with wildflowers and it's always sad when the maintenance crew shows up to hack it all down. Must try to get some shots as beautiful as time before they come

  20. Gorgeous. A few months later for this prompt and I could have shared the stunning wild arrowroot that grow all over but alas, Montana and February do go mix for wildflowers.
