One thing about having a nasty cold. It's okay to milk it by sitting still and doing sitting still activities like taking a class here from this talented lady. (I also purchased her book as a birthday gift to myself - it has a section for lefties!)

Anyway. Back to sitting still and learning things like using tracing paper to tweak a project. (Who knew?)

I thought I'd show you my project from beginning to end starting with my original sketch. Initially showed this to my family, one by one. Half read it correctly and the other half thought it read, "maintains". Thus the tracing paper.

Today, I get back to new handbag designs followed by a little production. Can't milk that cold thing forever...sadly. I kind of love sitting still.

Learned anything new lately?

  1. Hmmm, sure looks like "mountains" to me, Lori!
I just spent the last hour+ fiddling with CSS code to eliminate some extra line spacing on my site. Success. I think. :-)

I hope you're feeling better real soon.

  2. I just learned how to put a welted pocket in a jacket. I now think I am the cat's patoot!

I love reading each one of your comments. Thanks for your visit and have a wonderful day.
